Inkberry Planner Review & Giveaway

"text-align: center;">I received this item at a deep discount in exchange for this review and giveaway.

While some are glued to our phones and keep everything in there, I prefer having a tangible planner.

I have a tendency to be picky about what planner I have though.

What do I look for? Here are five things:

It has to fit my budget.

This one is probably the MOST important factor. When your funds are limited, a planner has to be worth every dollar you spend on it.

It has to fit my lifestyle.

When I was volunteering with the PTA, I needed lots of note and writing space in my planner.

It needs to fit in my purse or tote bag.

Everyone has their favorite bag, whether it’s a purse, tote or briefcase. My planner has to fit in the one that I always have with me.

It needs ‘Notes’ pages.

This is huge for me. I need to be able to flip open the back of a planner and be able to scribble away when inspiration hits. If I write it down, I remember it. If I type it in my phone, I’m not as likely to remember. This makes that Notes section an absolute MUST.

It must have a spot for contact info.

Whether it is a business, a vendor, a medical professional, or whoever else you may need, there needs to be a spot to keep those contacts in one spot. That is info you don’t want to get misplaced.

So, how does the Inkberry Planner stack up?

Budget: The Inkberry Planner is $21. From my research, this is pretty much average if you want a really good planner. It has everything you could want in a planner in one sleek package. I think it’s worth it.

Lifestyle: When I was volunteering, I always had a big tote bag with me so I used a bigger planner. Now that I’m back down to a purse, I prefer something smaller. It is about the size of a hardcover novel (5.75″ x 8.25″). It is thin enough to throw in my purse while I’m on the go, but large enough that I won’t lose it in the chaos of my desk when I’m home.

Fit: If an 8×5 picture will fit in your purse, this will. I tend to carry bigger bags, so this is a great fit.

Notes Pages: YES! There are LOTS of Notes pages in the back of the planner. There isn’t much room to write in the margins, but there is a good amount of space for each day.

Contact Info: Yup. There are two pages for contact info in this planner.

Looks like the Inkberry checks off all my boxes!

Also, some bonus features!

It comes in a hard case, which protected it when it was accidentally dropped.

Two ribbons to mark off dates/pages and a pocket inside the back cover.

A sturdy pen holder (it fits two Inkjoys, in case you were wondering!) that you can keep pens in and it doesn’t affect whether you can open the planner or not.

The pages are bleed-resistant. I don’t use fountain pens, but I do use gel ink pens and have a heavy hand. I tested that to make sure.
