"march Comes in like a lion and out like a lamb" is the old saying..

But also:

For those of you who don’t know, Multiple Sclerosis is currently an incurable disease. There have been great strides in research over the years, but we still have so far to go. I hope one day we can say it is completely eradicated.

My Mother passed due to complications with the disease in 2000, so it is a cause close to my heart. A few years ago, another close family member was diagnosed, which renewed my fight.

Over the years, I have purchased quite a few items and have found out about others that donate a portion of their profits or proceeds to MS Research.

The Home T

According to my understanding, The Home T no longer donates to MS research.

I’m in LOVE with this sweatshirt.

It’s super comfy and you can personalize it!

Also of note: The cause you purchase gear for is the one they donate to. It is not limited to MS research. You should check them out, no matter what cause you are passionate about.

I haven’t purchased anything from this store, but everyone seems to love their purchases. There are some great shirts, hats and posters.

Bonus: If you follow Mr. Moore on Instagram, you will see that he sometimes posts pics of his “Baby Girls” (who are sporting his merchandise) so there’s a chance you’ll pop up in his feed..  if you’re into that kinda thing 🙂

There are so many fantastic items in this store. There are even links to items you can purchase on other sites that will donate as well. What a great resource! I have not purchased any items from this site myself, but I do have it bookmarked for the future.

According to their website, MSRI’s goals are “to perform the highest quality laboratory-based research and to provide outstanding education in the field of Multiple Sclerosis.” They have special items for sale and the standards (totes, shirts, etc).

Those are my five suggestions. If you have any to add, please add them in the comments!

If you have a cause you’re passionate about, raising awareness is crucial.

Amazon Smile

There are several MS-related charities (I recommend MS Views and News) that you can sign up with and Amazon will donate a portion of your purchase to that charity.

Partners of the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation

These companies partner with the MSF by donating and sponsoring throughout the year.

Here are a few suggestions for products that don’t donate to MS research, but they do raise awareness:

Oriental Trading

There are quite a few items in the “orange ribbon” category. I purchased custom pencils years ago. The words are starting to come off and the font looks a bit creepy now, but you get the idea 🙂

Thirty-One

A few years ago, I purchased a Retro Metro foldover tote and added an orange ribbon to it. I did the same with their large tote.

It is under “Personalize It” on their product pages. You choose “Gives Care Ribbon” and choose your color. Easy-peasy!

No matter what cause you are passionate about, raising awareness and getting research donations are what you strive for!

I hope this list gave you some great gift ideas!

Happy shopping!
