Take A Hike, But Take This With You!

Hiking.

Camping.

Hanging out in the great outdoors can be fun, huh?

Confession: I fully admit I am too much of a princess to go camping overnight.

Day-camping is my bag. I will go to a campsite, hang out, walk around, cook, make a fire to roast marshmallows.. then head home. Nature and I are not friends and I’m okay with that. For the record: I’m sure nature could do without my constant kvetching too.

One thing I always have to have, but seems to be in short supply outdoors, is clean water.

Streams, ponds, rivers and lakes are sometimes nice to look at, but not the best to drink.

Solution?

The Survival Hax Portable Water Filter Bag.

Our tap water is always getting treated. You can definitely smell it when it does. I used the Filter Bag on it and I’m impressed. It tasted so much better!

I received a discount to purchase this in exchange for my review and I’m glad I took the chance on it! I’m excited to have this handy bag with us as we head into summer and start going out regularly.

The filter can also be attached to bottles, so you can reuse the ones you buy in the store.

My one tiny gripe is the instructions. They could be a tad clearer. There are basic instructions on the outside of the box though..

Other than that, I’m happy to have this handy dandy filter in my bag of on-the-go summer items.
