Summer Movie #6: INSPECTOR GADGET

Good ole Ferris Bueller himself, Matthew Broderick as the Inspector. What could be better?

Mini absolutely loved this one! She said her favorite part was when the Inspector first put on his gadget suit. Making a mess with toothpaste is Mini’s schtick. She cracked up when he says “Go go gadget oil spill” and out poured the toothpaste.

She is also a fan of slapstick so the fact that the two characters kept falling down just made the scene better in her mind. A second after the scene ended, Mini became very serious and asked, “Mommy, how come it’s funny when Inspector Gadget makes a mess with toothpaste but I get in trouble?”

“I don’t have to clean up after Inspector Gadget.”

“Oh.” She smiled a little sheepish grin then went back to her movie.

I’d say this one was a success!
