Summer Movie #1: BABE
ByTina BI absolutely LOVE this movie! At the end when Farmer Hoggett says “That’ll do, Pig”.. Umm yeah.. GOOSEBUMPS! Obviously I get a message from the true meaning of the film. It’s about acceptance and willingness to beat the odds. It’s about trust and helping out someone who needs you. I could go on and on….

ByTina BWe missed the annual “Breakfast with Santa” at the local Fire Department due to snow 🙁 Mini was pretty disappointed but understood. Does she believe in Santa? She believes he is a character in books. She doesn’t believe he brings her presents. She figured out that Santa, the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny *ahem*…

How’s My Parenting?
ByTina BIf you ask some random people how my parenting is, they will most likely start giving me guff for my decisions, but that’s another post 🙂 Recently, Kristin over at Blood, Sweat & Cheers! posted about parental performance reviews (Performance Reviews for Parents?!). I saw the quiz she gave her 10yo son and thought I…

Do you pick based on a theme? Like genre, decade, or celebrity? Or just a random list of films she hasn’t seen?
No theme. Just random movies I like that I think she will like too. We did this quite a few summers ago and she loved it. She’s not being very cooperative this time around (grrr tweenagers!!) but she did watch one movie. She also wants to binge watch Stranger Things so I guess the real challenge will be getting her to watch the movies in the first place.
