Have You Seen This?
ByTina BBlog Challenge: Share a video. The suggestions were something great, like a TED Talk. Nope. I’m posting a Hyperlapse video of me playing Dr Mario on my mini NES. Enjoy!

Summer Movie 16: FERNGULLY THE LAST RAINFOREST
ByTina BI love Robin Williams! He has played so many memorable characters over the years and Batty Koda does NOT disappoint. Batty was Mini’s favorite character (DUH!) and she cracked up during the “Batty Rap”. I thought the storyline might be lost on Mini, but she was able to follow along pretty well. She understood that…

Summer Movie #7: FRANKENWEENIE
ByTina BI inadvertently made a boo-boo on this one. When this movie came out in theatres, a few of Mini’s friends had seen it. The moms all told me to go see it. “It’s so funny”, they said. “Mini will love it!” said another. Wrong! Well, right. But wrong too. Mini laughed through the movie, enjoying…

ByTina BAugust was a very interesting month for us.. Some things happened, good and bad, but for this, we are concentrating on the good 🙂 I tried to photo as much of it as I could, so here goes: Mini had her softball awards dinner. She will tell you all about it in one of her…

Summer Movie #2: BRAVE
ByTina BWhen I suggested this movie to Mini, she was NOT happy. One of her friends loves this movie and has been telling her to watch it. Mini has refused. I tried to think of a way to get her to watch it and not complain. Then it hit me. “She shoots a bow and arrow,”…

Mini Monday – Post 12 – Summer Camp Part 3
ByTina BMy last week of Summer Camp was a great one! I am going to miss all my new friends and I can’t wait to see them in school next month. We had a camp Talent Show this week and it was so much fun! I didn’t perform and stayed in the audience. Now onto my…

Do you pick based on a theme? Like genre, decade, or celebrity? Or just a random list of films she hasn’t seen?
No theme. Just random movies I like that I think she will like too. We did this quite a few summers ago and she loved it. She’s not being very cooperative this time around (grrr tweenagers!!) but she did watch one movie. She also wants to binge watch Stranger Things so I guess the real challenge will be getting her to watch the movies in the first place.
