Blog Challenge Day 5: One Piece of Advice.

There is so much good advice out there.

Random people on the street have zero issues coming right up to you to tell you what you’re doing wrong.

Sometimes, a kind soul will give you an encouraging word.

How do you filter out what to keep with you?

“Consider the source”.

THAT is the single best piece of advice I’ve ever been given!

What is the source of the unsolicited advice you’re receiving or the source of the rumor you just heard?

Honestly, there are some people who are just miserable and will do anything to dull someone else’s shine because they feel like garbage about themselves.

On the other hand, there are people who truly want to help.

It’s up to you to decide who is really helping or really annoying.

    Very true! Some people just love to give “advice” but it isn’t very good or helpful, ha.
    I try not to advise/lecture my younger sister too much because one, she is 30, and two, hello, what the hell do I know anyways, ha. It’s hard because I’m 9 years older and in my head she is still just a baby.

      I hear you! My sisters are in their early/mid-20s and I have to resist the urge to try and parent them sometimes.
