Welcome to the April 2020 version of the Ultimate Blog Challenge!

ARE YOU READY?

LET’S GO!

If you’re not familiar with blog challenges, you are given a topic to write about and you post daily on your blog.

I decided to go for another challenge because why not? It’s great to get back into the swing of things and try your best to post everyday. I prefer to batch-write, so the biggest challenge for me will be to stay consistent with this.

Today’s topic is Your Word of the Year.

I usually don’t bother with a word of the year because I feel like the universe takes it as a challenge to screw with my plans.

BUT

This year I decided to.

Here is my post about it and why I decided to jump in: My Word For 2020

So my word for 2020 is FORWARD.

So how am I doing?

Life has thrown curveballs at us all this year, but I have to say I am still moving forward.

*Both my Printables and Pug shops have some new items in them.

*I’ve been researching a few major life changes in the background, all with the goal of helping the kiddo and I move forward.

*There are a bunch of blog posts in the queue.. still having an issue with posting. Nothing wrong with the blog, just with my head.

*We lost one of our dogs (Jordan) last month and have been giving our other pups some extra TLC. Jack was hit especially hard by the loss and he’s needed a bit of extra attention.

*Homeschooling has actually been going okay. Luckily, Mini has classwork to offer a distraction from life events. She had already expressed a desire to be homeschooled, so I consider this a trial.

No matter what life has thrown at us, we keep moving forward and that is sometimes all you can do.

Just keep going.

  1. Just keep going is good advice 🙂 It’s been a very strange type of world in recent events, I can’t imagine trying to parent/work/teach all at the same time!

    1. It’s difficult, to say the least. It took us a few weeks to come up with a schedule so I could get work done and help her. We’ve gotten “used to it” by now, but she’s really missing her friends.
