The Minion Cake
I’m going to try and not get angry here.. this post ended up gaining traction because Mini’s cake was shamed on a parenting blog. Yes, you read that right. It was on one of those cake-wreck slideshow posts. Mini was six at the time and found it while she was searching for other cake fails. She was crushed. I wrote to the owner of the blog and tried to explain. I never heard back, but I saw a few comments that had come from people who had seen my blog and got angry that a parenting blog shamed a six-year-old. Win for us? I’d say so! Also, that blog is out of business now, so I thank karma for that.

Oh no! I’m so sorry your cake ended up on a post like that 🙁 I used to follow cake wrecks, but those were only professional paid for cakes, not home bakers because that doesn’t seem fair.
I could understand if people post as cake fails, but that almost seemed like a violation, you know?
